There are lots of high-definition TV sets out there but no local terrestial stations broadcasting in HD yet. What gives? WHILE watching Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) last week, I noticed a crawler at the bottom of the screen that said the show was being recorded in HD. The exciting prospect of watching Ramli Sarip’s sweat pores up close was quickly tempered with one simple fact: I couldn’t find the high definition transmission anywhere.
It was broadcast on a terrestrial channel, which is only available in standard definition, and none of the HD channels on the satellite box had them. It may have been online, but when I found it, I still wasn’t completely convinced I had the right feed...LAGI...

NEW YORK: The Al Jazeera network is close to a deal to take over the low-rated Current TV, the New York Times reports. Doha, Qatar-based Al Jazeera and Current TV, founded in 2005 by Al Gore and Joel Hyatt, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Be careful......

There was this case in the hospital's Intensive Care ward where
patients always died in the same bed and on Friday mornings
regardless of their medical conditions. This puzzled the doctors
and some even thought that it had to do with the supernatural.

So the doctors decide to go down to that particular ward to
investigate the cause of the incidents. Come Friday morning,
everyone at the hospital ward nervously waited for the terrible
phenomenon to occur again.

Some holding prayer books and other holy objects to ward off evils...

Soldiers allegedly attacked five journalists attempting to take cover the crash of an Indonesian Air Force jet in Pekanbaru, Riau, on Tuesday, choking one photojournalist and confiscating cameras from two, according to Antara News Agency reports.
A BAE Systems/British Aerospace Hawk 200 fighter jet crashed during a routine flight over Penkanbaru at 9:30 Tuesday morning.  The pilot was able to safely eject before the crash...LAGI...
